Differences between varieties of CBC Pads?

Is there any significant different between--
  1. standard white CBC pads
  2. yellow "Pro" CBC pads
  3.  red "Pro" CBC pads?
Or is it just marketing fairy dust?

I'm looking to find something slightly more grippy for my StarLite, which I found kind of slippy.

Red: SUPER grippy
Yellow: Less grippy
White: least grippy

at least, in my experience.

The more grippy it is, the longer it lasts, as well.
The white pads become useless in a few days for me.
The yellow will last a few weeks.
Red, lasts damn long.
