Hello everyone! I've just discovered this site within the last week and after some intensive scrutinizing, reviewing, and comparing, I have decided that the yo yo to get me back into the swing of things (haven't yo yo'd since 2001, 10 years! wow!) is to be the YoyoJam Kickside. I was going to get a legacy at first, but they are all sold out, so it came down to the Lyn Fury and the Kickside. Both seemed to be a very good choice, and I found a ton of great things said about both of them, but the ultimate deciding factor went something a bit like this: I have read a TON of great things about the Lyn Fury, a TON, much more then I have read about the Kickside as far as quantity of reviews, however, among those great reviews/forum threads, there are scattered some negative ones, or just sort of neutral ones, and more then just a couple, however, I found with the kickside, despite having maybe about half the amount of reviews (that I found at least in my 2 days of researching those 2 yo's) I found very little if any bad reviews at all about the kickside, in fact as far as I can remember, I don't recall having seen ANY "bad" reviews at all, and so, that was how I broke the ice and decided which one to buy.
I definitely can't wait for it to get here, I'm 23 now btw if anyone was wondering so last time I yo yo'd was around the time I was 12-13, and that was w/ a Turbo Bumblebee GT, (which sadly got lost between moves, maybe one day I'll open a box and there it will be, I would have to buy a new bearing though), it's going to be great! I also bought some thin/thick shims, packs of string, and thin lube.
Ill update you guys w/ a review and first impression after it arrives!
