Duncan Freehand Zero yoyo - Clear #16246 View Details Print The Freehand Zero yoyo is Duncan's answer to all the original Freehand. As some may know, after a long run of the original Freehand, Duncan stopped producing it and left many FH fans without the yoyo they loved so much. After a long hiatus, Duncan decided to take it back to basics and produce this, the Freehand Zero. It features the same shape as an original Freehand, but with many enhanced modifications: The indented circle for the friction sticker to fit precisely, the optional metal shim or rubber shim behind the spacers, and multiple counterweights so you can choose whatever suits your style. This yoyo has taken the original Freehand to the next level and is a great successor. The CLEAR Freehand Zero, is a VERY popular yoyo amongst the painters in our YoYo Community. In fact, our first Limited Edition, by Takeshi, was based off of this very yoyo. If you want to start painting yoyos, the Clear Freehand Zero is a great choice! There are a couple of options to choose from: - Counterweight "head" - Color of Counterweight "dice" Please choose what you would like, and we'll try our best to match your preferences! However, the counterweight and the die are quite random, so we'll match these to your preference as best as we can. Out of the box it plays just right for a novice like me. it has been able to adjust to my increasing abilities and challenge me. I have changed to friction stickers to thin dif-pads. which has challenged me to learn binds. Author: Adriano Zanoni Author: some guy Hi guys! this is my first real review on this site, so bear with me. ok, i recently recieved this yo as a gift (a really good one!) and i LOVE it! this yo beats my speed maker and sigma blade out of the water. i use this yo all the time and it's awesome. if you have even a little bit doubt on this yo, throw it away and buy this yo-yo! It plays smooth on the string and plays great even in stock. my personal preference is one friction sticker on the axle side and no friction sticker on the other. although a bt pricy for a duncan, it's worth every penny. Great for 1A and 5A (haven't tried 4A with it yet), just a great all around yo. Come with the yo and 3 coounterweights, dice, rubber ball and figure head. I have never been a fan of Duncan friction stickers. With one thin difpad and a washed bearing (with mineral spirit, not water), this yo is amazing! I love it so much. I have a pyro, and if it weren't for the konkave bearing, I'd like this one more! (mind you, the only reason why I wouldn't buy a konkave for the freehand zero is that the ceramic costs more than the yo!) It is really good when it's satined. The polycarbonate is very durable. I am going to recess mine soon. It is a must have for ANY yoyoer. It is such a great yoyo! I love it! Author: Some young guy... Pound-for-pound, the best yo-yo for the buck -- you get a great yo for under $20. Highly customizable and upgradeable; out of the box, it's very friendly for beginners, but can be modified to suit the need of more advanced players. As other authors have written, the Duncan friction stickers wear out very quickly. I suggest other forms of response, such as the dif pad. Author: dudeofyo I have enough Duncans to know that there is a simple solution to the quickly-wearing response: wear out both stickers, then put one chrome spacer and one yellow zinc spacer. Voila! It should now bind tightly and still have low response. To reduce the shock bind with an under mount.
