NRC, a “notorious” yoyo contest in the UK was held nearly a month ago. This promotional trailer already gives you a sneak preview at the awesome freestyles that are being uploaded as we speak. Those can be viewed on the BYYA site. A huge thanks to Matt Gallacher for all the effort he put in it! Enjoy!

Jensen Kimmit wins Cal State 2011!

I really dig his relaxed style. Jensen is back (in a CLYW t-shirt)!

YOYO BENELUX?

As you might know, there are some countries in Europe where yoyoing still needs a huge boost in popularity and exposure. Let’s take for example Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. If I would have to make an estimation of the “serious” yoyoers in these 3 countries I would say 30 (I am not kidding)! While the European Yo Yo Meeting 2012 is planned in The Netherlands, further plans of enlarging the yoyo community here are around the corner.

I can’t say much about it yet, but there are plans to organise a BENELUX (Belgium-Netherlands-Luxembourg) yoyo contest and monthly meetings. Jowan, Jessica, Malte + friends (the Netherlands) and me (Matthias from Belgium) are eager to execute these plans as soon as possible so it will give yoyoing the attention it deserves.

More updates once there is more news!
