Rafael “Red” Matsunaga came all the way from Brazil to NYC last week, along with several other Brazilian yo-yoers, for this year’s New York State Yo-Yo Contest and International Yo-Yo Open. Red is a Brazil National Yo-Yo Master and 2003 5A World Champion, has rocked the Brazilian TV networks along with his countrymen with their yo-yo talents (check out youtube) — and is a magician behind the camera lens. He’s shared his pictures of the contest and the City with us. Fantastic stuff, Red!
