On August 11, 2007, world-class yo-yo talent takes the stage deep in the heart of the Big Apple with the first-ever New York State Yo-Yo Contest and International Yo-Yo Open!

For one day only, Pier 17 of New York’s South Street Seaport - a thriving community on Lower Manhattan’s historic waterfront - will be a showcase for entertainment, education, and eye-popping yo-yo ability.

FYI, the Missouri YoYo Championships — MoYo States — will take place this July 14 and 15 at the City Museum in St. Louis, MO. Yo-yos and the hoisting of the hugely awesome balloon sculpture “Shepard” by Jason Hackenwerth: need we say more?
