Daniel Dietz has been named a Distinguished Finalist for Massachusetts in the 2008 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program, recognized for “perform[ing] as a ‘yo-yo trick master’ to raise more than $15,000 so that 60 poor children around the world could get free life-changing surgery to correct their cleft lips and palates.”

Daniel, whom we were psyched to have perform last year’s International Yo-Yo Open in NYC, has donated his yo-yo proceeds over the years to The Smile Train, an international organization specializing in cleft surgery.
